ENTREVISTA COM JOEL DAS NEVES TEMBE – HISTORIADOR MOÇAMBICANO E DIRECTOR DO ARQUIVO HISTÓRICO DE MOÇAMBIQUE

Dr. Tembe is also the President of the Eastern African Branch, International Council on Archivists (ESABICA). In this interview, he described the Mozambique Historical Archives and his experience as a

director there. Human resources improvement has been one of his priority areas. Dr. Tembe emphasised how professional associations such as ESABICA have been contributing to providing training programme

and sharing of ideas in the region. However, language barrier has been their biggest challenges, even though other problems with storage, infrastructure and training needs are hindering their work.
